Title: Maine Potato Crescents

2cMaine Round White Potatoes
  Mashed
2cFlour
1/2tsSalt
1cButter
1/4lbWalnuts -- Ground
1/4cButter
1/4cBrown Sugar
  Dough-----
  Filling-----

Method: For dough, blend butter and flour, add potato and salt. Knead into a smooth dough. Roll out and fold over five times. Roll 1/8 inch thick and cut into 3 inch squares. Mix remaining ingredients together for filling. Place a small amount of filling in the center of each square and roll to form crescent. Bake at 400 F for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. Serves 6. Originally from Shirley Male.
